Who is behind ExportAction?

ExportAction was founded in 2007 with decades of international business management, marketing and sales experience (including eleven years working with UKTI).

We are owner-managed, self-financed, debt-free, profitable and growing.

We understand SME challenges (we are a UK SME). That is why:
our agreements are month-by-month
our office service prices will not rise in your first year
we minimize risk for our clients
our clients have no lease to sign, no equipment to buy, no staff to hire, keep total control of their money...
and we have a price list with no hidden extras.
Our clients speak for themselves. All the quotes within this web site are unsolicited and verbatim.

Roger Frampton, co-founder and president
From 2000 to 2007 Roger helped literally hundreds of client companies of UKTI with their business and marketing strategies for the Americas. Before that he was involved in a UK open systems and software house, Digitus (sold to ECSoft, a Nasdaq company) and later as a shareholding director of both Micromuse and Superscape.

For Micromuse, a UK network asset and complexity management developer, he was a shareholding director and opened the company's first US office and managed initial marketing. Subsequently listed on Nasdaq, Micromuse was later acquired by IBM. Later he became a shareholding director of Superscape, a UK developer of interactive, three-dimensional software, which listed on the London Stock Exchange in order to finance the establishment of subsidiaries around the globe; Superscape was later acquired by Glu Mobile. Roger was director of worldwide communications for Superscape, representing the company on conference platforms around the world as well as briefing media and analysts and working with international subsidiaries and distributors.

Following the fulfillment of a service contract, he served UKTI on a part-time basis in three roles - each focused on assisting UK companies establish, develop and manage business in north, central and south America. Concurrently, he served the European Commission as a project reviewer and rapporteur on two multinational technology-based projects: Virtual Assisted Testing (VAT) and a Concurrent Engineering Software Management training environment (COSIGA). He also managed a consortium partner's participation in two European Commission projects: EPIFOCAL and INFORM, both advanced electronic publishing and communications services.

Roger is a published author and experienced public speaker and broadcaster.

John Sterlicchi, co-founder
From January 2010, with US operations successfully off-the-ground and running smoothly, John Sterlicchi focused his attention on strategic plans for the future of ExportAction. Tragically, on June 29, 2010 he unexpectedly died in his sleep. He is greatly missed by family, friends and colleagues around the world and we pay tribute to the contribution he made during the first three years of ExportAction.
