If you use a virtual or serviced office with mail forwarding, you may pay to receive all mail - even flyers from the local pizza parlor. Then payments, orders, invitations to tender and time critical documents may then take weeks to arrive in the UK.
ExportAction clients decide how they want their incoming mail handled. Without exception they have all chosen:
- The arrival of anything marked “private” or “confidential” is notified by email requesting instructions (remember virtually all mail in the US has the sender’s address on the envelope, or package).
- Payments will be banked (if this has been arranged) to optimize your cash-flow - you will be notified of deposits to your US account.
- Time-sensitive items of interest (for examples, orders, invitations to tender, forms needing completion...) will be scanned and emailed, or if too large, forwarded by FedEx or UPS.
- Items of interest that are not time-sensitive will be forwarded by US Postal Service.
- Unsolicited, non-specifically addressed items of no interest will be recycled.
