| Working days
It is easy to confuse
holidays with vacations and when we say “working days” the subject is really “non-working
days.”
Typically, a US employee will receive two weeks (ten working days) paid
vacation a year - more after extended service, but almost never reaching
European levels.
ExportAction offices in the USA are open from Monday to Friday from 09.00 to
18.00 local time. For clients with a high volume of incoming telephone
inquiries from consumers, special arrangements are possible for Saturday and
Sunday service.
We are broadly guided on closure by Federal holidays and the days on which the
New York Stock Exchange trades.
